Couldn’t recommend these guys enough! It took me 8 years of learning with different instructors and nothing clicked until I started my journey with Ellisons! Taken me from an emotional wreck when it comes to driving to actually enjoying getting behind the wheel! If anyone is looking for an instructor please consider these guys! (coming from someone who has experienced many over the years 😂)

I passed today after learning with Claudia and I cannot thank her enough for her support and help with my driving lessons. As a nervous driver Claudia helped me improve my confidence massively and I wouldn’t have been able to do it without her. I 100% recommend Claudia if you’re looking for lessons.

Never shouts or gets angry or upset with anything at all but helps re direct and re teach and helps you to find your own way to do things and remember things that suit your needs 😀

I was taught by Daniel Limond who was a fantastic instructor and played a big part in me passing my test. Ellisons was efficient and the app was easy to use such as booking more lessons

Paul was an amazing instructor throughout the course of my lessons with him, he helped me progress really quickly and effectively helped me to crush any bad habits. He was very patient with the areas I struggled with (even when i was being slow) and helped me achieve a great pass. Thank you Paul!!

My dreams came true today and it’s all thanks to Kate Yarde! I spent 12 years doubting myself, having no confidence, starting and stopping lessons, trying different instructors and everything I could think of to build my confidence, not having a license was holding me back and I just had no hope of ever actually getting there! Then I started with Kate, her empathetic nature, relaxed but humerus approach and the perfect balance between praise and critique, was everything I needed and now I finally have the freedom I’ve been waiting for! I had great experience with Ellisons and my instructor was John whom I can’t praise enough. He was very patient and professional, and lessons were incredible, easy to understand and John ensures we become a safe driver. It was a great experience and I am very thankful to John.

From the help of Sandy rawles tuition, I passed first time after just 2 months of driving with 30 hours of lessons alongside driving with my parents. A talented instructor who builds up your confidence as soon as you get into his car, teaching to high standard, level of knowledge, and always giving direction of improvement. I highly recommend sandy and ellisons.

Went to get my C1 licence and with only 10 hours of lessons that included my reverse and practical tests, passed first time with the help of Paul. Very fair prices and quality learning. Cannot recommend enough!

Car driver to Class 1 HGV in four days says it all. Due to time constraints and last minute DVLA test cancellations the course was compressed to 4 days. My instructor, Paul (known to all as Badge) was not only professional, but an excellent communicator, patient and very friendly, guiding me from a being a mere car driver to a successful first time Class 1 HGV Pass. Many thanks to him and Paul Ellison, who rearranged the entire course and went well beyond the call to get the job done…with a smile. I highly recommend Ellisons for all your training.

All the staff are friendly and really helpful. Bradley helped me get my training started super quickly and Paul’s training had me pass first time. I will be recommending Ellison’s to other student paramedics on my course.

I would definitely recommend ellisons . I had Paul as my driving instructor and he was so nice and helpful. I passed in 4 months which I never thought would happen . I’ve learned so much from driving with ellisons .

I would strongly recommend Elaine! I passed my practical today first time and it was all down to the support and guidance from my driving instructor Elaine, she is fantastic; calm, patient and encouraging! I would recommend her to anybody looking to start driving lessons. I was finding it difficult to keep calm and collected through my driving lessons learning to control my nerves Elaine was able to support and encourage me to gain confidence in myself behind the wheel, she made me feel comfortable from the moment I stepped into the car and made a daunting task feel easier.

I passed my driving test first time this morning!! Ellisons were fantastic and so quick with arranging a start date for me with lessons back when I began learning to drive in April. The process was so easy. I couldn’t thank Judit enough!! Not only was she a fantastic teacher, she always made me feel at ease, comfortable and confident. She has been absolutely brilliant. I’ll miss both her and our lessons very much. Thank you for helping me get my freedom Judit, you’re an absolute star 🌟

Loved learning to drive with Colette, I didn’t have many lessons and got a cancellation and pass my practical test first time!! So greatful for having an amazing instructor to teach me to drive. have trained from ellisons taunton and Dan was my instructor.Under his tutelage he pointed out my flaws and rectified them the way i could understand. His prowess of articulating our mistakes and inculcating the right way made me comfortable .I am verymuch obliged to him for the incredible support he has extended during the course of my training.Also I convey my indebt gratitude to Jason and Paul who supercede when Dan was off from the work.I strongly recommand new aspirants who look forward driving lessions TO Ellisons.________ kudos to the entire team in Ellisons.

Go here instead of green for go, when I switched over I almost immediately improved my driving. I had to unlearn bad techniques green for go taught me.

Driving instructor Claire sweet who is very patient, never yelled and would talk me through every mistake I made. Would recommend asking for her, especially if you are anxious about driving

Excellent driving school, I have passed my driving test first time today with Dan with he is amazing driving instructor at Ellisons driving as that they are calm and relaxed making you feel relaxed as well when you are driving building up your confidence and I had a bad experience with another driving company months ago and so I changed my driving school with Ellison’s driving school instead and they absolutely amazing, building up my confidence and over coming that bad experience and now I can do it like a pro. ☺😊👍🏻fantastic driving school!

Having had issues trying to find an automatic driving instructor in my area i was recommended ellisons through a friend. I visited the website and i contacted ellisons and had a quick response. A few weeks later i had my first driving lesson with Robb. I was worried, nervous and had alot of anixety and lacked in confidence regarding driving. Robb is patient and calming and is a very good driving instructor who makes you feel at ease. I passed in october with only 3 minors! Thanks sooo much Robb 🙂 couldnt have done it without you!

Absolutely loved learning to drive with Paul. The most sarcastic son of a gun you’ll meet but that does wonders to calm your nerves and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Would definitely recommend if you’re after a first time pass (and who doesn’t want that?!)

Amazing instructor (kate) helped me by teaching me with all my nerves anxiety and was very patient through my outbursts and got me through my test 2nd attempt and only 1 minor fault. Thank you ellison’s. By far the best instructors by far.
